Uruma began his career at Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) in Los Angeles in M&A and real estate consulting. He then established MTM Consulting to focus on cross-border real estate consulting services for Japanese and U.S. clients. Uruma joined Secured Capital Corporation in 1997 and founded Secured Capital Japan (now PAG Investment Management), serving as its first President and CEO. Founding Touchstone Investment Management, our predecessor, in 2002, he became the President and CEO of Touchstone Capital Securities in 2005. He was appointed Representative Director, Chairman and CEO of Touchstone Capital Management in 2010, and Representative Director and President of Danto Holdings in March 2019. Uruma has been involved in real estate transactions totaling over USD 10 billion throughout his career. He holds degrees in Finance and Accounting from Loma Linda University (California), was appointed Chairman of the Securitization and Alternative Business Council of the Japan Securities Dealers Association for two consecutive terms and is an Executive Committee member of ULI Japan, frequent speaker at international conferences and guest lecturer at universities.
Matsumoto started his career at the Mitsui Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (now Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited). First assigned to the Real Estate Brokerage Division, he thereafter took responsibility for real estate finance and real estate equity investment. He joined Touchstone Capital Securities in 2006 and was in charge of structured finance in the Investment Banking Division. He then transferred to Touchstone Capital Management in 2012. Matsumoto is an Assistant Real Estate Appraiser, ARES Certified Master and Registered Real Estate Broker. He graduated from University of Kyoto with a degree in law.
Fukushige began his career in the Real Estate Investment Department of Yasuda Life Insurance Company (now Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company) in 1988. He was then seconded to Paine Webber in the U.S. for one year, after which he was placed in charge of real estate equity investments for Meiji Yasuda. Fukushige was then seconded to Tokyo Realty Investment Management to found Japan Prime Realty REIT. Upon returning to Meiji Yasuda, he was responsible for management of non-recourse loans, PFI loans and securitized instruments such as CMBS. Fukushige then joined Nomura Real Estate Investment Management, where he was responsible for property acquisitions for institutional investor funds. He joined the Touchstone Group in 2008. Fukushige is an ARES Certified Master and Registered Real Estate Broker, and graduated from Osaka University of Foreign Studies.
Ichimura began his career at the Real Estate Economic Institute in 1996, researching and writing about real estate market trends. In 2001, he joined Creed and became Director of Creed Real Estate Investment Advisors (now Vermilion Capital Management) in 2008, responsible for risk management and compliance. He joined Touchstone Capital Management in 2018. Ichimura is an ARES Certified Master and Registered Real Estate Broker, and holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Doshisha University.
Fujii started his career at Citibank Tokyo in 1986, also worked at Citibank London, then joined UBS Tokyo in 1992. In 1994, he joined a real estate firm and was seconded to Tokyo Tatemono, where he was responsible for office building management and real estate appraisal. In 1998, he joined Secured Capital Japan (now PAG Investment Management), where he was responsible for non-performing loan investment and real estate investment due diligence. He joined Fuji Bank (now Mizuho Bank, Ltd.) in 2001, where he started the bank’s non-performing loan investment work. He joined Touchstone Investment Management in 2004 and transferred to Touchstone Capital Securities in 2005, where he was the Head of Real Estate Consulting and subsequently Head of Investment Banking. He transferred to Touchstone Capital Management in 2009. Fujii is an Assistant Real Estate Appraiser, Registered Real Estate Broker, and Registered Real Estate Consulting Specialist, and holds a B.A. in Economics from Saitama University.
Inakura began his career at Ikoma CB Richard Ellis (now CBRE) in 2004. He then joined Mizuho Trust Bank, where he was responsible for real estate brokerage and finance. In 2010, he joined Mitsui Fudosan Investment Advisors, where he was engaged in real estate asset management for private funds. In 2013, he joined Prologis, and was then seconded to Prologis REIT Management to acquire and manage logistics property for Nippon Prologis REIT. He then joined Mitsubishi UFJ Lease (now Mitsubishi HC Capital), where he was in charge of overseas real estate equity and debt finance. He joined Touchstone in 2021.He is an ARES Certified Master and Registered Real Estate Broker, and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Nagoya University.
