Uruma began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick in Los Angeles in M&A and real estate consulting. He then established MTM Consulting to focus on cross-border real estate consulting services for Japanese and U.S. clients. Uruma joined Secured Capital Corporation in 1997 and founded Secured Capital Japan (previously listed on the TSE First Section), serving as its first President and CEO. Uruma founded Touchstone Investment Management in 2002 and became the President and CEO of Touchstone Capital Securities in 2005. Uruma has been involved in real estate transactions totaling over US$10 billion throughout his career. Uruma holds degrees in Finance and Accounting from Loma Linda University (California). Uruma was appointed Chairman of the Securitization and Alternative Business Council of the Japan Securities Dealers Association for two consecutive terms. He is also an Executive Committee member of ULI Japan, a frequent speaker at international conferences and a guest lecturer at universities.
Ohira began his career in the audit department of KPMG Peat Marwick in Los Angeles. He is Co-Founder of MTM Consulting and advised Japanese and U.S. clients on cross-border real estate transactions. He became President of MTM Consulting in 1995. Ohira joined the Touchstone group in 2005 as a director of Touchstone Capital Securities. Ohira graduated from the University of Southern California and is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant.
Fukushige began his career in the Real Estate Investment Department of Yasuda Life Insurance Company (currently, Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company). Fukushige was then seconded to Paine Webber in the U.S. for one year, after which he was placed in charge of real estate equity investments for Meiji Yasuda. Fukushige was then seconded to Tokyo Realty Investment Management to found an office and retail REIT. Upon returning to Meiji Yasuda, he was responsible for management of non-recourse loans, PFI loans and securitized instruments such as CMBS. Fukushige then joined Nomura Real Estate Investment Management, where he was responsible for property acquisitions for institutional investor funds. Fukushige joined Touchstone in 2008 as President of Touchstone Capital Management before his current position. Fukushige graduated from Osaka University of Foreign Studies. Fukushige is ARES Certified Master and Registered Real Estate Broker.
Fujii started his career at Citibank Tokyo in 1986 and also worked at Citibank London. In 1992, he pursued a career as a foreign exchange dealer at UBS Tokyo. In 1994, he worked for a real estate leasing firm and was seconded to Tokyo Tatemono, where he was responsible for office building management and real estate appraisal. In 1998, he joined Secured Capital Japan, where he was responsible for non-performing loan and real estate due diligence. He joined Fuji Bank (currently Mizuho Corporate Bank) in 2001, where he was responsible for non-performing loan investments. He joined Touchstone Investment Management in 2004 and transferred to Touchstone Capital Securities in 2005, where he was the Head of Real Estate Consulting and subsequently Head of Investment Banking. He transferred to Touchstone Capital Management in 2009. Fujii holds a B.A. in economics from Saitama University. Fujii is Assistant Real Estate Appraiser, Registered Real Estate Broker, and Registered Real Estate Consulting Specialist.
Matsumoto earned his BA in Law degree from University of Kyoto and started his career at the Mitsui Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (Currently, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited). He was assigned to Real Estate Brokerage Division and thereafter was placed at Real Estate Asset Finance Division to be responsible for real estate non recourse loan and real estate equity investment operations. He joined Touchstone Capital Securities in 2006 and was in charge of structured finance operation at Investment Banking Division. He transferred to Touchstone Capital Management in 2012. Matsumoto is Assistant Real Estate Appraiser, Registered Real Estate Broker, and ARES Certified Master.
Igarashi began her career in the securities brokerage business at the Tokyo Branch of MSREF in 1986. Igarashi then joined First Boston (currently, Credit Suisse), became responsible for Operation Department as Deputy Head of Operations and later served in the Legal and Compliance Department. In 1999, Igarashi joined Barclays Capital Securities as Head of the Tokyo Office Compliance Department. In 2000, Igarashi became Head of the Compliance Department of Witt Capital Securities. In 2001, Igarashi joined Société Générale and became Compliance Officer at the SG Online Branch. Igarashi joined Touchstone in June 2006, initially serving as its Statutory Auditor of Touchstone Capital Holdings before her current position. Igarashi graduated from Tsuda College with a degree in International Politics.
Mannen began his career at the Mitsui Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited) in 1982, where he was active in overseas financial businesses. He was stationed in Beijing, Belgium and Hong Kong at various times during his tenure. In 2000, he joined GE Edison Life Insurance (currently Gibraltar Life Insurance) where he was in charge of operation analysis and in 2001, became the Finance Head of GE Asset Management Co., Ltd.. Subsequently, he worked at Japan ERI and Rakuten KC, where he was the head of the Administration Department. He joined Touchstone in February 2009. Mannen graduated from Keio University with a degree in economics.
